Tourette Greece is a newly founded non-profit association in Athens, Greece.
As we are working on developing our online content and presence, we are thrilled to have established an ongoing collaboration with Tics and Tourette Across the Globe and the European Society for the Study of Tourette Syndrome.
The European Society for the Study of Tourette Syndrome in collaboration with Tics & Tourette Around the Globe (TTAG), are organising a one-day seminar on Tourette syndrome in Athens, Greece.
We are aiming at disseminating specialised knowledge, addressing recurrent misconceptions, and accommodating concerns and queries from the audience in a comprehensive manner.
This event is dedicated to the newly founded patient association, Tourette Greece, which we are certain will mark a shift in raising awareness nationally, and we shall continue to support through our activities.
All the talks will be held in English. Greek-speaking collaborators will be present and eager to facilitate with the occasional linguistic difficulties.

Christina's life took a different path when her son was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome and ADHD at the age of 7.
Since then, she has dedicated herself to understanding these conditions- learning what they are, how to live with them, and how best to support her son.
There is very little awareness about TS and ADHD in Greece, and she feels compelled to change that. Christina wants to help families avoid feeling as lost and desperate as she once did. She is passionate about giving and understanding others, and believes many people need a supportive hand.
She is not alone in this mission. She has met extraordinary women who have inspired her to take the next step, and together, they aim to make a difference! Their goal is to ensure that people with neurological disorders are treated with respect and understanding, free from judgment and barriers to opportunity.
